ActivOx

Another anti-hypertensive drug that the doctor ActivOx may prescribe is calcium channel blockers. These anti-hypertensive drugs slow down the movement of calcium into the heart and blood vessels which result to dilation of the blood vessels. Just like with the other anti-hypertensive drugs, when blood vessels are widened, there is increased blood flow and decreased blood pressure. Some examples of calcium channel blockers include isradipine, amlodipine, felodipine, diltiazem, nicradipine, verapamil, nifedipine, and others. Some of the side effects due to calcium channel blockers are edema, constipation, diarrhea, skin rash, headache, fatigue, and others. These are only a few examples of anti-hypertensive drugs which are effective in lowering hypertension. The only disadvantage with taking these drugs is the side effects that come with these. Besides using anti-hypertensive drugs, these are still other treatments for high blood pressure that you can use.
